Have you heard of PearsonVue Trick (PVT)?
For lots of NCLEX takers, waiting for the NCLEX result is the most stressful part. That’s why some candidates would pay $7.95 at Pearsonvue just to view the Quick Results, but not all State Boards of Nursing participate in that service. Then comes the Pearsonvue Trick (or PVT to some).
Pearsonvue Trick hints you about your NCLEX result, sometimes hours after taking the exam. Yes, it’s quicker than Quick Results, and most of all free. Even candidates whose State Board of Nursing does not participate in QR can utilize this method of checking NCLEX result.
Alright, I’ll give you the steps on how to do Pearsonvue trick, with images.
1. Type address http://pearsonvue.com/nclex/activity/. Login your Username and Password, as shown below:

2. Click ‘Register’ button.

3. Choose your Exam Type. Below NCLEX-RN was selected. Click ‘Next’.

4. Select Country of Test Center Location. Click ‘Next’.

In the next items, you may answer only the required field (with *).
5. Click ‘Yes’ in first Question, then select your Country in dropdown menu. Wait for page to refresh.

6. Leave the City and Program Code fields blank if you’re in foreign country, as shown below. Click ‘Search’ and again, wait for the page to refresh.

7. Then select the Country(or your Nursing program with Program Code) that appeared after refresh, as shown below. Click ‘Next’.

8. Select your Board of Nursing, as shown. Take a deep breath, the next screen will hint you of your result. If you’re ready, click ‘Next’.

Here are the possible outcomes:
• If you passed the NCLEX, there’s a pop-up that says, "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time."

If you failed, the registration will continue and ask you for Payment, credit card details.

Disclaimer: I have been told that this Pearsonvue trick has been tried many times already, and it works. Of course, official NCLEX Results will be mailed to you by your State Board of Nursing. Does this work? Please comment.
I sent the instructions to a friend who had just taken the NCLEX test on Friday Sept 10, 2010 in the morning. She followed the instructions provided by the link in the evening of 9/10/2010 and received the results according to the instructions provided on the link which indicated she had passed the NCLEX test.
ReplyDeleteShe then went ahead and paid the fee to receive the unofficial results within 48 hours , these results indicated she had passed the test as well.
She checked the BON site everyday from 9/13/2010 through 9/16/2010 and on 9/16/2010 the BON had posted her as being a licensed nurse. So it appears as though the instructions posted in the link work.
I actually did this and it was letting me re-schedule the exam so I was nervous but 48 hours after I took the exam I found out I had PASSED it so it's not completely accurate!
ReplyDeletei dont know i tried the method for my wife who took her exam in India 12/22/11 and i tried to check it via the method above but it took me to the payment method..
ReplyDeleteJoe, did your wife pass?
DeleteI an the owner of this blog and I must say that if it took you to the payment method, TanSpices, it is not promising. But like I always say, please wait until you get the actual results in the mail. I have had access to the actual NCLEX questions so if you need tutoring let me know. It is not the questions that help one pass the NCLEX but the discussion and rationale as the questions are right or wrong that help you pass and this is what I go over when I tutor.

annliese, I just took the exam today and I am getting the message "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time." I have heard from TONS of people that this means I passed. My state should post results online within the next 3-4 business days. I can't wait to see my name up there with the RN next to it.
ReplyDeleteI Passed- Found out yesterday. :) The trick WORKS! I'm a believer.
ReplyDeleteHas anyone gotten the message that indicates you passed then still got notice you failed?
ReplyDeleteI don't believe so but I am only the moderator of this site. I have more information about this on my actual web site if you desire to look:

Hope this helps you.
My husband took the NCLEX yesterday. He has been studying like crazy. He went into it really focused & confident that he was going to pass. When he started the test, he started getting "all that apply" questions and it started to wear on his confidence. While he was at the test, I found this website. After the test, he called, saying he knew he failed. That last 24 hours have not been fun...They have been extremely stressful. However, after trying this trick, we keep get the good pop-up message. It is a little comforting to me, but none to him. I just wish they would post the results. He has called the telephone number they give, and it won't let him do anything and won't give him any information. I really hope this trick works! We have all our eggs in this basket, especially since we live in New Jersey and he tested for North Carolina, because we are planning on moving there over the summer.
